**BREAST SCREENING PROGRAMME - the NHS Breast screening programme will be sending out invites from the end of September 2019 to female patients aged 50-70 years old.  It is IMPORTANT that you attend this screening as it can save lives from breast cancer.  The screening can find breast cancers at an early stage when they are too small to see of feel.  For more information go to the Further Information box at the bottom right hand side of this screen and click on Breast Screening Programme 2019.**

Pride in Practice (LGBT)

Pride in Practice tick PRIDE IN PRACTICE 

In March/April 2017, the practice were trained by representatives from the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) Foundation and an assessment was also carried out.  As a result of this, the practice is delighted to announce that we have been awarded with a silver award for PRIDE IN PRACTICE.

Pride in Practice is a quality assurance support service that strengthens and develops your relationship with your lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) patients within your local community.Endorsed by The Royal College of GP’s, Pride in Practice is a support package that enables practices to effectively and confidently meet the needs of LGBT patients.  

The Pride in Practice award demonstrates the practice’s commitment and dedication to ensuring a fully inclusive patient-centred service.
